If you love the KARAKAI JOZU NO TAKAGI-SAN anime adaptation, you’ll definitely appreciate the idea of being teased by Takagi-san IRL. We may not be able to do exactly that, but we’re getting pretty close thanks to a new virtual reality app that’s out in Japan today.
The KARAKAI JOZU NO TAKAGI-SAN VR 1st Semester app is currently available for Oculus Rift S, Oculus Rift, HTC VIVE, and HTC VIVE Pro HMD via Steam and the Oculus Store. The experience gives players the opportunity to interact with Takagi-san—complete with Rie Takahashi back to provide the voice from the TV anime—in a handful of manga-inspired scenarios, from a day at the beach to a nice stroll home from school.
Priced at ¥1,490 (about $14), the app aims to expand to Oculus Quest in the future. Check out a sample in the promo below.
