Kanon Wakeshima Lined up for Wixoss Film’s Theme

The WIXOSS card-game-turned-anime—which started with Selector Infected Wixoss last year and was followed by Selector Spread Wixoss—is getting a feature film in Japan early next year. The Selector Destructed Wixoss movie was originally announced back in April, and singer Kanon Wakeshima revealed that she will be returning to perform the main theme song.

Wakeshima’s single hits Japan in February 2016, and the film opens in Japan on February 13.

Selector Destructed Wixoss features the same staff of the TV anime seasons, with Takuya Satō lined up to direct while Mari Okada handles series composition and scripts for the J.C. Staff production. See the original promo announcing the project below.
