An AnimeFesta anime adaptation of Yoshimi Sato’s erotic sci-fi comedy manga Kakushite! Makina-san!! (Makina-san’s a Love Bot?!) premiered in multiple versions—some more censored than others—on April 6. Now it has an English dub on the way that’s officially set to launch on April 30.

The manga, which launched in 2022, is about an introverted mech otaku named Eita with a crush on Makina-san, a sexy girl from his school. One day, she reveals to Eita that she is a sex robot, and that she is in need of repairs.
The series is directed by Masayoshi Nishita (Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) at the studio BloomZ. Yōhei Kashii (TenPuru) is on scripts. It stars Tomoyo Takayanagi as Makina and Yō Taichi as Eita.
Manga creator Sato is also known for Crossing Time, which was adapted into an anime series in 2018.

Eita Akutsu is a loner and an introverted mecha otaku. One night, the cheerful and popular gyaru, Makina Agatsuma, suddenly appears in his apartment. But something seems off about her. When she abruptly strips in front of him… what he sees is not a human body, but a mechanical one! Makina is an AI robot designed for intimacy, yet she’s been restricted from accessing any adult-related information. Eita, on the other hand, is a pure-hearted vi gin who is extremely awkward and has no experience with women at all! Thus begins their top-secret cohabitation, where no one can find out her true nature!
