Unless the folks behind them are being irresponsible, it’s a safe bet most of the remaining events in 2020 will be canceled, and that extends to Jump Special Anime Festa. Instead of putting on a big physical showcase, the 2020 version of the semi-annual event will move online, with the festivities set to stream on the official Jump YouTube channel on October 11 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm Japan Time.
Naturally, fans of Shonen Jump series will want to keep their eyes on Jump Special Anime Festa once again this year. The event promises a special preview of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train feature film, as well as new Dr. STONE season 2 footage and another preview of the JUJUTSU KAISEN TV anime.
Fans will also get to check out an original anime for Boukyaku Battery, the Shonen Jump+ manga series by Eco Mikawa.
