The anime adaptation of Fujino Omori and Suzuhito Yasuda’s Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? light novel series continues with the appropriately titled Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV. As revealed this weekend, the fourth season is officially set to premiere in Japan this summer.

DanMachi IV has director Hideki Tachibana returning alongside character designer Shigeki Kimoto, script supervisor Hideki Shirane and other members from animation studio J.C. Staff. Original author Fujino Omori is also on the staff this time around to supervise scripts with Shirane.

HIDIVE will stream the new season as it airs. While the first three seasons are currently available on HIDIVE and Crunchyroll, the latter will be removing it on March 31.

Series synopsis:

Based off of a light novel of the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!
