Writer Quantum and illustrator Hana Amano’s I’m Quitting Heroing light novels—known in Japan as Yusha, Yamemasu—is coming to the screen in an anime adaptation this April. Featuring direction by Yuu Nobuta and Hisashi Ishii, with EMT Squared on animation production, the anime’s latest update is here with a new character promo that focuses on the demihuman known as Lili.
When in battle, Lili can transform into the wolf god Fenrir, and she ends up seeing Leo as her ideal marriage partner after he defeats her. Meet the Hitomi Owada-voiced character in the video below.
The manga adaptation, which features art by Nori Kazato, is available via the Book Walker app, and is described as such:
After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo became someone who is not wanted in the peaceful human world. He was too strong. Exiled, he seeks a job at the Demon King’s Army, which he had defeated and needs to be rebuilt.
The Army had many problems: too much work, financial troubles, etc. Leo starts to make things better using his power.
Leo encounters Echidna again, and asks her why she invaded the human world. There was an unexpected story—!
