Earlier this month we got a bunch of cast additions for the I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime, and now a premiere date has been revealed. Crunchyroll has already announced plans to stream the series as it airs, and its broadcast officially begins in Japan on October 1, 2024.
In addition to the premiere date news, there’s also a new character trailer featuring the protagonist, Alicia. Meet the Kanna Nakamura-voiced character in the video below.
I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History Alicia Trailer
The anime is being made at MAHO FILM, with Yuji Yanase of By the Grace of the Gods helming the project as director. The person writing the scripts is Sawako Hirabayashi, whose credits include Wolf Girl & Black Prince. The music is composed by Moe Hyūga, who is known for working on The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten. Credit for main character designs go to Yūko Watabe of Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp as well as Eri Kojima of I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss.
Yen Press publishes the manga adaptation—based on the light novels by Izumi Okido and Jun Hayase—and describes it:
