How Much Would You Pay for a Solid Gold One Piece Figure?

Otaku with some extra, extra, EXTRA-disposable income might want to turn their attention to a new One Piece figure that’s about to debut in Japan. In the most appropriate way to commemorate the release of the new feature film, One Piece Film Gold (see our review here!), precious metal supplier Tokuriki Honten has a pair of pure 24k gold takes on One Piece hero Luffy.

The small version of the figure stands at 100mm (32g) and will simply break the bank at ¥650,000 ($6,095). The large, 180mm (1,300g) figure, on the other hand, will straight up demolish the bank at ¥20,000,000 (about $187,477).

Both figures are now on display at Tokuriki Honten’s base metal/jewelry stores, and will be available to purchase for those who be so bold starting August 1.
