Hideo Kojima Not Happy About Canceled Game

Then again, who would be? The Metal Gear Solid creator recently faced some bad news, as a game he had been working on at Kojima Productions for the past year faced cancellation. Needless to say, he didn’t exactly take this turn of events in stride.

While it’s not clear what the mystery project was, exactly, Kojima‘s tweets showed a rare form of public dissatisfaction. He tweeted that what he had spent a year on was now “meaningless,” along with, “I can’t take it anymore, this is unbearable, I can’t stay positive.”

Perhaps we’ll learn more about the source of his woes at this year’s E3, but it’s safe to say that a world with one less Hideo Kojima game is a sadder world indeed.
