Waki Yamato’s classic shoujo manga series Haikara-san ga Tōru is coming back in the form of a pair of anime films, and ELEVEN ARTS Anime Studio announced plans to bring the first to theaters in the United States. Haikara-san: Here Comes Miss Modern is coming to theaters in the original Japanese dialogue with English subtitles for a limited engagement on June 8, 2018.
The sequel currently has a fall 2018 release planned in Japan.
