Not going to lie: living in Tokyo has its perks.
One of those perks is the seemingly never-ending parade of limited-time exhibitions centered around anime and manga releases. Though realistically, these events are marketing pure and simple, they’re often either very cheap or free and offer fans a behind-the-scenes peek at upcoming films and series.
This week’s exhibition brought us to Ikebukuro, where Parco department store was hosting an event to welcome to the world the final episode of Gundam Unicorn, to be released May 17th. To celebrate (i.e. promote) the occasion, the kind folks at Bandai set up a small gallery covering the four-year, seven-episode Gundam Unicorn project. And they even let us take pictures!
Without further ado, a lot of robots.
Gundam Unicorn: Road to Episode 7 runs at Ikebukuro Parco until May 11th. Gundam Unicorn episode 7 will be released in Japan May 17th.
