Gundam: Extreme VS-Force Game Dated for Digital Release

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS-Force is making its way to PS Vita in the west, and Bandai Namco Entertainment lined up a date for what will officially be a digital-only release. Gundam fans in North America and Europe will be able to download the portable action game via PlayStation Network on July 12. 

To celebrate the announcement, Bandai Namco tossed in some info on a new battle system feature and new playable characters. Read more about both after the new English trailer below. 

The Force Attack feature is described as:

A special and extremely powerful attack that players can use during Unit Battle Missions to inflict serious damages to any other mobile suit characters in the game.

New playable characters include:

  • 00 Gundam,
  • Barbatos 1st Form
  • Barbatos 4th Form
  • Destiny Gundam (Heine)
  • Gundam GP02
  • Mack Knife
  • Master Gundam
  • Strike Freedom
  • Turn X
