God of War Gets Manga Adaptation by Golden Boy Creator
Golden Boy isn’t the first series that comes to mind when one thinks of God of War‘s Kratos getting the manga treatment, but Sony is making it so when the next portable entry, Ghost of Sparta, hits Japanese stores in November.
Tatsuya Egawa, known fondly for the Golden Boy manga that resulted in one hell of an anime adaptation, is drawing a comic to be included with the God of War Digest Book for the game’s UMD release.
The book will serve as a bit of a catch-up for fans that either haven’t been along for the whole ride, or just want a quick refresher of the events leading up to Ghost of Sparta.
The limited edition that includes Egawa’s manga hits Japan on November 11. North Americans can pick up the game (sans manga) on November 2.
