Gintama Anime’s Return Set for January

While earlier seasons of Gintama had been met with a few complaints thanks to an earlier time slot of 6:00pm—let’s just say media watchdog groups weren’t always thrilled with Hideaki Sorachi’s humor—the latest anime adaptation is officially heading to late nights.

Following up on its initial announcement in September, TV Tokyo has the series’ return scheduled to debut between January 8 and 9 at 1:35am.
