Ghost in the Shell Arise Anime Planned for 2013

Word from the February issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine has the Ghost in the Shell Arise anime scheduled for a 2013 debut. The series’ chief director is Kazuchika Kise (animation director for the recent Evangelion films, Patlabor 2, and much more), with supervising and script writing handled by Tow Ubukata (series composition on Le Chevalier D’Eon, Heroic Age).

Cornelius was also revealed as the anime’s composer, and a shot of the Monthly Young Magazine issue in question, pictured below, shows a snippet of Motoko Kusanagi art.
