Get Ready For Heritage Auctions’ Anime Sale This Month

Certain Pokémon cards have done amazingly well at recent auctions, but how well would anime cels and artwork sell in bidding wars? We’re about to find out, because Heritage Auctions is putting on The Art of Anime and Everything Cool Auction from June 25-27.

928 lots will be involved, and while hundreds of those will be anime-related, there will also be stuff from American cartoons sold. Some of the anime titles getting their cels and art auctioned off include Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Akira, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Astro Boy, Ghost in the Shell and more. The items come from the collection of film producer Mike Glad and have been seen previously in museums.

Check out this video for the auction, and if you’re able to bid, good luck! You can take part in the auction here.
