Gamera -Rebirth- Announces Debut Date, Fifth Kaiju

Gamera -Rebirth- is headed to Netflix September 7. That’s the word from the latest trailer for the animated Gamera series, revealed at Comic-Con International this weekend.
The trailer also unveiled the fifth and final kaiju that Gamera will go up against: Viras.
Finally, the trailer previews the theme song “Natsuake” by WANIMA. WANIMA will also performing the ending theme song.
The five kaiju Gamera will battle in the six-part series are:
Gyaos
Jiger
Viras
Zigra
Guiron
The series stars Hisako Kanemoto as Boko, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Joe, Aki Toyosaki as Junichi, Subaru Kimura as Brody, Mamoru Miyano as Tazaki and Saori Hayami as Emiko.
Gamera -Rebirth- is directed by Hiroyuki Seshita (Godzilla anime trilogy) at the studio ENGI.
