Funimation just announced another addition to their streaming lineup taken straight from Fuji Television’s noitaminA block. This time it’s the Yutaka Yamamoto- (Kannagi, Haruhi Suzumiya) directed Fractale.
With A-1 Pictures and Ordet producing, Fractale spins the yarn of a young boy searching for a shrine maiden he recently rescued. With the help of the avatar within her pendant, he hopes to both find her and uncover the reasons behind the collapse of the island continent he calls home.
The first episode of Fractale will be available via Funimation’s video portal an hour after its Japanese broadcast: Thursday, January 13 at 10:45 a.m. CST. New installments of the 11-episode series will be added each week, and will eventually be available through other streaming outlets, as well.
