FLCL Gets E-Sakuga Key Frame Collection App

Interested in getting a behind-the-scenes look at the original FLCL? This may be the ebook for you.

Japanese company Onebilling Inc. is centering the latest in its series of E-Sakuga ebooks on the popular 2000-2001 OVA, which is getting a sequel next year.

The E-Sakuga ebook is a collection of key frames from the original series. Onebilling says the key frames are “freshly scanned,” and that the ebook contains frames that “will be made public for the first time.”

Previous books in the series have covered Evangelion 3.0, Den-Noh Coil, and Giovanni’s Island.

The only thing that might give less-than-hardcore FLCL fans pause when considering this ebook is the price tag: $20. Still, it might be just the thing to tide us over until FLCL 2 shows up late next year.

Have you checked out any of Onebilling’s previous E-Sakuga books?
