After Over 4 Years, Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis Manga Returns from Hiatus This November

Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis

Hiroyuki Yatsu and Hideki Tsuji’s Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis manga has been on a lengthy hiatus. It first started its break back in May 2020, and now, four and a half years later, it finally has a return date. According to Tsuji, the series will return to Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon in the January 2025 issue, which launches on November 25, 2024.

The Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis manga first kicked off in Monthly Comic Zenon in October 2017, continuing the story of the Fist of the Blue Sky manga. Two seasons of anime have been produced to adapt the series.

Artist Tsuji previously revealed that most of the remainder of the manga had been drafted, and while that may have been done well in advance, at least we know they nearly have the drafting buttoned up for the series.

Crunchyroll streams the anime adaptation and sums up the story like so:

Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis Plot

The rivalry between the two factions controlling the underworld, the Green Gang and Red Flower Gang, reaches its peak and is nearing its end with a Green Gang victory. The individuals responsible for the revival of the Green Gang, Kasumi Kenshiro and Yu-Ling, are enjoying a brief rest from the conflict. Meanwhile, in Harbin, Liu Fei-yan and Erika Arendt are carefully transporting something. With their course set for Shanghai, they are headed to meet French intelligence officer Charles de Guise.
