The ten titles were “ vote of seven external selection committee members and recommendations by booksellers, manga professionals, and general readers.”

The next step will be a committee of eight manga-ka and industry professionals, and the winner will be announced at the end of April. The presentation ceremony will take place June 6.

Some of these titles are already available in English, while others don’t even have a Wikipedia entry. In any case, it’s a great list if you’re looking to read some highly regarded manga!
