Fashion Brand Uniqlo Unveils Demon Slayer T-Shirts

Fashion Brand Uniqlo Unveils Demon Slayer T-ShirtsThe Japanese fast fashion brand Uniqlo has just revealed a line of T-shirts sure to slay a few readers out there. It’s a lineup of shirts based on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the uber-popular series from Koyoharu Gotōge.

The Demon Slayer T-shirts revealed today feature a variety of characters and patterns inspired by the manga. Those shirts are set to go on sale August 7. A second round of not-yet-revealed shirts, based on the anime, are set to go on sale in late August.

Meanwhile, Uniqlo’s budget brand GU also revealed its own Demon Slayer T-shirts, also set for late August.

The Uniqlo shirts are priced at 990 yen, or just over 9 dollars.

Considering how popular Demon Slayer is these days, we suspect these shirts are going to fly off the shelves.

Here’s how Viz describes Demon Slayer:

In Taisho-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted boy who makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.

Learning to slay demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers…but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
