In an exclusive reveal at Otaku USA, Oni Press is sharing its upcoming Rick and Morty manga parody covers!
First up is Rick and Morty Meeseeks P.I. #1 Cover B, drawn by Marc Ellerby and parodying Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Z.
The writer and main artist for this is Fred C. Stresing. It will hit stores on November 29, and Oni Press gave this description for the comic’s plot:
The remote to the interdimensional cable box has gone missing! Desperate to find it before Rick can berate him, Jerry enlists the help of Meeseeks, P.I., and the two set off to retrieve the remote, unraveling a massive interdimensional cable conspiracy hidden right underneath their noses!
Next up we have Rick and Morty #11, and its cover B is a parody of Junji Ito’s Uzumaki, drawn by Fred C. Stresing.
The writer for this is Alex Firer. It will hit stores on November 8, and Oni Press gave this description for the comic’s plot:
Our heroes and their foes have traveled through space and time, finally arriving at a distant planet on the edge of the universe. VIZ Media publishes both the Dragon Ball Z and Uzumaki manga. It gave this description for the first volume of Dragon Ball Z:
