Yoshiyuki Sadamoto‘s Neon Genesis Evangelion manga may have ended last June, but the series is getting a spin-off manga in April. As announced in the April issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine, writer Yūshi Kawata and artist Yukito (Don Quixote -Ureigao no Kishi: Sono Ai-) are teaming up on the manga, which will debut in the May issue on April 4.

The spin-off has the tagline, “The stage is ‘Eva’ x ‘game department’!? Look out for this unique combination!” We’ll know more about what that means when the manga arrives in Young Ace pages in Japan next month.
