Fans of the Encouragement of Climb anime—based on the Yama no Susume manga by Shiro—can look forward to more soon. The series is coming back to TV in Japan next month, with a premiere on Tokyo MX and other stations set for July 2.
The director of seasons one and two, Yusuke Yamamoto, is back at anime studio 8-Bit along with character designer and animation director Yuusuke Matsuo and other staff members from the recent Encouragement of Climb: Omoide Present OVA. The principal cast members are also on board for the third season, which will consist of 13 15-minute episodes.
Opening theme “Chiheisen Stride” will be performed by Yuka Iguchi, Kana Asumi, Yōko Hikasa, and Yui Ogura as their respective characters, and Iguchi and Asumi will be doing the same for the “Irochigai no Tsubasa” ending theme.
