With the Dr. STONE manga by Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki over and the anime preparing to continue, there’s room for more science in other aspects of entertainment. The next area Senku plans to conquer is the stage, and fans in Japan will be able to see the experiments go down live in Dr. STONE The Stage -Science World- this summer.
The show—which marks a first for the series and includes an adaptation of the story along with on-stage experiments and other educational elements—kicks off at Tokyo’s Sunshine Theater on July 9, where it will run until July 18. After that it’s heading to the AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe from July 21 to July 24, with more information on cast, times and other details to be revealed later.
