Doctor Elise Trailer Shares Theme Songs, Debut Date

The anime Doctor Elise (sometimes translated as Surgeon Elise) has dropped a new trailer full of all sorts of goodies. Not only does it announce the debut date (January 10, 2024), but it gives more info on the cast and crew and lets us listen to snippets of both the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is titled “believer” and performed by Elise’s voice actress Yui Ishikawa, while Maju Arai performs the ending theme song, “Listen.”

Here are the new actors that the trailer unveiled: Satoshi Hino plays Ron, Daisuke Ono plays Lenne De Clorance, Hiro Shimono plays Chris De Clorance, Sōma Saitō plays Michael De Romanoff, Megumi Han plays Yulian De Childe, and Kazuhiko Inoue plays Minchester De Romanoff. It had previously been announced that Yōhei Azakami plays Linden and Yoshimasa Hosoya plays Graham.

The anime is being made at Maho Film, with Kumiko Habara of I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss helming the project as director. The task of series composition is being done by Deko Akao, who is known for working on Komi Can’t Communicate.
