Disney Twisted Wonderland Mobile Game Inspires Anime Adaptation

disney twisted wonderland

Disney Twisted Wonderland is a mobile game that puts villains from various Disney films into an “academy adventure,” complete with battles and rhythm game elements. It first launched in Japan in March 2020, and now it’s officially getting its own anime adaptation.

The original game had Black Butler creator Yana Toboso handling the concept, as well as the character designs and scenario. It also features an opening animated by TROYCA, but we’ll have to wait to find out who all is involved with the upcoming anime project.

Disney Twisted Wonderland previously inspired a manga adaptation by Sumire Kowono and Wakana Hazuki, which launched in the pages of Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine on March 18.
