Discotek Announces Lupin Part V, Orguss, 20th Conan Film, More

Discotek Announces Lupin Part V, Orguss, 20th Conan Film, MoreDiscotek, everyone’s favorite licensor of classic and otherwise awesome anime, released a slew of new title announcements today for that finest of formats, the blue ray diskette.

At the top of the list is Lupin the Third: Part V, the most recent season of Lupin. (For now, anyway: VI was just announced recently.) That 24-episode series will be released in two parts.

Discotek also grabbed Shaman King (the 2001 version) in both its dubbed/edited and subbed/uncut incarnations. Those’ll be released separately.

Other announcements included:

  • Case Closed: The Darkest Nightmare, which we all know is actually called Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare
  • Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, which I’ve never heard of but sounds awesome
  • Super Dimension Century Orguss, which I have heard of and is awesome
  • Fatal Fury The OVA Collection, which includes Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf and Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle

Fatal Fury will include fan commentary by Matt McMuscles.

Here’s a big old Twitter thread from Discotek themselves for more details.
