58-year-old voice actor Toshihiko Seki—known for roles such as Iruka Umino in Naruto, Muzan Kibutsuji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Senketsu in Kill la Kill, among many others—is the latest in the industry to test positive for COVID-19. The announcement came through agency 81 Produce, which said the actor was hospitalized on Tuesday and is currently in stable condition.
After coming down with a fever on July 31, Seki got tested at a hospital on August 1 and received his positive results on August 3. While they have yet to determine where he contracted it from, 81 Produce is working to find the source and protect those with whom he may have come in contact.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
