Next up for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime is the Hashira Training Arc, which is coming to screens this spring following a World Tour. Ahead of that, we now know who will be kicking each episode off, because the opening theme song performers have been revealed as J-Rock band MY FIRST STORY and legendary rocker HYDE.

Their song will be “Mugen (Fantasy).”

Much like they did the last time around, the theatrical World Tour 2024 –To the Hashira Training- screenings will include the final episode of Swordsmith Village Arc and the one-hour debut episode of Hashira Training Arc, with all episodes up-converted to 4K with special theatrical music mixing. It all starts with the premiere in Tokyo this month, but the World Tour has wider screenings planned throughout Japan beyond that, with 140 countries and territories across the world to follow after.

The Demon Slayer anime will continue to be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Akira Matsushima as character designer and chief animation director and Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina on music.

Crunchyroll streams all of the Demon Slayer anime thus far and describes it:

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.

Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
