Days TV Anime Announces Main Staff

Days is an upcoming TV anime adaptation of the soccer manga by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, which follows soccer prodigy Jin and his unlikely friend Tsukushi who has no talent at sports. Nevertheless, Tsukushi has passion, so they navigate the world of high school sports together. Along with the opening of an official website and Twitter account, the anime’s main staff has been announced.

Kōnosuke Uda (One Piece) will direct, with Kazuto Nakazawa (Samurai Champloo) on character designs and Yoshihiro Ike (Tiger & Bunny) on music for the MAPPA production. Other staff includes Masafumi Mima (Kuroko’s Basketball) as sound director, sound production by Techno Sound, and music production by Pony Canyon.
