Folks hoping for something spooky to enjoy next year now have a new anime to look forward to. An anime adaptation of Kenichi Kondo’s 2019 manga Dark Gathering has officially been revealed, and it’s been penciled in for sometime in 2023.

Hiroshi Ikehata (TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You) is directing the anime at studio OLM (ODDTAXI), with further details on the cast and staff to come. For now, you can check out a teaser promo and visual below.

Full teaser visual:

In Dark Gathering, college freshman Keitaro Gentoga is haunted by his ability to attract spirits, which has inevitably led to collateral damage in the past. While he attempts to blend into society through his work as a private tutor, this soon goes sideways when his first student, Yayoi Hozuki, sucks him into a quest to find the spirit that took her mother from her.

Stay tuned for more on this one as it’s announced!
