An anime adaptation was announced for Kenichi Kondo’s 2019 horror manga Dark Gathering in July, and the latest update is here with more information. In addition to a trailer and key visual, we now know more about the cast and staff behind it.
As previously announced, Hiroshi Ikehata (TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You) is directing the anime at studio OLM (ODDTAXI). Other staff members include series composition writer Shigeru Murakoshi (ZOMBIE LAND SAGA), character designer Shinya Segawa (Pastel Memories) and composers Kohta Yamamoto (Attack on Titan Final Season), Shun Narita (Noblesse) and Yusuke Ceo (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online).
Joining them are Yasujiro Osada as art director, Yuho Ando as director of photography, Takahiro Uezono as 3DCG director, Ritsuko Utagawa as color designer and Kohei Yoshida as sound director.

In Dark Gathering, college freshman Keitaro Gentoga is haunted by his ability to attract spirits, which has inevitably led to collateral damage in the past. While he attempts to blend into society through his work as a private tutor, this soon goes sideways when his first student, Yayoi Hozuki, sucks him into a quest to find the spirit that took her mother from her.
