The anime Cultural Exchange With a Game Centre Girl (based on the manga Game Center Shоjo to Ibunka Kоryu by Hirokazu Yasuhara) is going to be here on July 6. Ahead of this a trailer has dropped, a visual was released, and more info was given on the songs and cast.
The trailer is partly in English, and in it you can also hear some of the opening theme song “Futari no Start Button” (translated as “Their Start Button”) being performed by the anime’s voice actors Sally Amaki and Reo Osanai.

You don’t hear it in this trailer, but the ending theme song is titled “Amusing Flavor” and performed by Amaki alone.
Here is the visual.
It had previously been revealed that Sally Amaki (Carol Olston in Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) plays Lily Baker and Shōya Chiba (Kiyotaka Ayanokōji in Classroom of the Elite) plays Renji Kusakabe. Here are the newly-announced voice talents:
- Reo Osanai (who has small roles in many anime, including Black Butler: Public School Arc and Farming Life in Another World) plays Aoi Kusakabe
- Kaori Ishihara (Luna Elegant in Demon Lord, Retry!) plays Hotaru Katsuragi
- Asaki Yuikawa (Niina Shimazaki in Blue Box) plays Karin Kaga
- Ai Kayano (Ryōko Sakaki in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) plays Momoko Mochizuki
The series is being made at Nomad with Toshihiro Kikuchi of Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! helming the project as director. The person handling series scripts is Yasunori Yamada, known for working on Elegant Yokai Apartment Life and Web Ghost PiPoPa.
The Cultural Exchange With a Game Centre Girl manga has not been licensed in America, though it’s more likely to get licensed now that an anime is coming out. It started out as a Twitter manga before being picked up Kadokawa. The manga follows part-time arcade worker Renji Kusakabe and his friendship with Lily, a girl from England.
