Gosick, a BONES-animated adaptation of Kazuki Sakuraba’s novel series, is but one of a few new additions to Crunchyroll’s streaming lineup. The simulcast of the 24-episode anime—available for viewing in in a variety of locations around the world in addition to North America—kicks off Friday at 1:00 p.m. EST for North Americans.
This announcement comes hot off the heels of more Crunchyroll simulcast news, including the airing of Beelzebub two hours after the shonen series’ premiere in Japan. The first episode of the animated take on Ryuhei Tamura’s manga—which follows delinquent student Tatsumi Oga as he’s tasked with caring for the infant son of the king of demons—will stream on Saturday, January 8 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
Finally, we come to the third of the CR additions, Rio – Rainbow Gate!, starring the Super Blackjack line of Pachinko games’ mascot, Rio Rollins. Studio XEBEC produces her search for the Legendary Thirteen Gates Cards, which will no doubt cement her Ultimate Casino Dealer status. Anime Members should be able to watch that one over at Crunchyroll, oh, right about now.
