No, that doesn’t mean they’re simulcasting an anime about killing giants. Rather, Giant Killing is the anime adaptation of Masaya Tsunamoto and Tsujimoto’s soccer manga of the same name, which has been running in Weekly Morning since 2007.
As tends to be the case with new simulcast series, those without premium Crunchyroll memberships will have to wait a week to check it out. However, with the episodes streaming an hour after their Japanese debut, those with memberships can go ahead and check out the first one now.
As if the name wasn’t already enough of a hook for me, being a sucker for sports anime and manga means I’ll have to check this out pronto. Anyone else giving Giant Killing a spin?
