Congratulations Pour in For My Hero Academia Creator

The manga My Hero Academia has concluded after 10 years. Along with voting for your favorite character in the worldwide “WORLD BEST HERO” poll, you can take a look at the kudos creator Kohei Horikoshi is getting for completing his mega-popular series. Some congrats were posted on social media, and others were published by Weekly Shonen Jump.

Congratulations for Horikoshi

Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has sold more manga than anyone else in the world. He wrote to Horikoshi:

So now you get to play Pokémon Go as much as you want! Congratulations on ten years, Horikoshi Sensei!

Jujutsu Kaisen might be the most in-demand anime right now, but its creator Gege Akutami made it clear what the manga owes Horikoshi, writing:

Jujutsu would not exist without My Hero. Congratulations!

Kenta Shinohara of Witch Watch made mention of the amount of work Horikoshi was under for My Hero Academia:

There was so much pressure you were carrying during serialization. Well done, Horikoshi sensei. Get some rest. I’ll miss you so much.

Yusei Matsui, known for The Elusive Samurai and Assassination Classroom, commented:

What a perfect example of what a series in Jump should be. Congratulations, Horikoshi Sensei!

Yuto Suzuki, creator of Sakamoto Days, remarked:

Congratulations for completing My Hero after ten years. Being in the same magazine has been the pride of my life.

Ikeguchi, an editor at Weekly Shonen Jump, said:

Congratulations on the completion of Hero Aca! It may be cliché, but it was super fun!

People from the anime adaptation spoke as well. Yosuke Kuroda, who works on the series composition and script, made this promise about the My Hero Academia anime:

Congratulations Horikoshi-sensei on completing My Hero Academia.
Now, I sincerely hope that you take some time to rest and recharge your batteries. We have received the baton from you.
We, the animation staff, intend to follow in your footsteps and do our best to bring the series to a conclusion.
Now, it’s our turn.
