It’s hard to believe that this year marks the 25th anniversary of Masashi Kishimoto’s landmark Naruto manga. Shueisha didn’t let this milestone slip by, and one of the ways the publisher is celebrating is with a special video highlighting key moments from the series.

You can relive some of the most memorable story beats in the video—which stylishly brings manga panels to life with light animation—below. It first made its way online on September 21, which is the exact day Kishimoto’s manga first hit the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump back in 1999.

The Naruto manga ran from 1999 to 2014, and was collected in 72 volumes. It inspired two main TV anime series—Naruto and Naruto Shippuden—as well as movies, one-shots, novels, sequel series BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS and more.

VIZ Media publishes the manga and describes the story like so:

Naruto Plot

Twelve years ago the Village Hidden in the Leaves was attacked by a fearsome threat. A nine-tailed fox spirit claimed the life of the village leader, the Hokage, and many others. Today, the village is at peace and a troublemaking kid named Naruto is struggling to graduate from Ninja Academy. His goal may be to become the next Hokage, but his true destiny will be much more complicated. The adventure begins now!
