Plans were previously revealed to bring the Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki anime back for a second season, and now we have a fresh look at what’s next. The update has arrived in the form of a new trailer and key visual, so check out the latest while we wait for more details on the second season below.
The first season of Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki was produced at studio project No. 9, with Shinsuke Yanagi (My Stepmom’s Daughter is My Ex) directing, Fumihiko Shimo (BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense) on series composition and Akane Yano on character designs.
Yen Press publishes the original light novels by Yuki Yaku and Fly in English and describes them like so:
Tomozaki is one of the best gamers in Japan, and in his opinion, the game of real life is one of the worst. No clear-cut rules for success, horribly balanced, and nothing makes sense. But then he meets a gamer who’s just as good as him, and she offers to teach him a few exploits…
