Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh Anime Previews Its Dark World
If you enjoyed the earlier Boogiepop Phantom anime, you’re in for a treat early next year. The latest TV anime adaptation of Kouhei Kadono’s light novel series, Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh, is set for a January 2019 premiere in Japan, and a previously-revealed promo is now officially online.
The new Boogiepop series is being directed by Shingo Natsume, who previously helmed the One-Punch Man TV anime. Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA, One-Punch Man) is on series composition, with Hidehiko Sawada on character designs and Kensuke Ushio (DEVILMAN crybaby) on the soundtrack at Madhouse.
