A release date was revealed this week for the Blue Thermal anime film, which adapts the manga of the same name by Kana Ozawa. The feature will open in Japan on March 4, 2022, and the full trailer is here to preview more of the adaptation, including the “Blue Thermal” theme song by SHE’S, who also provided the insert song, “Beautiful Bird.”

Masaki Tachibana (Princess Principal) directs the film, which stars Mayu Hotta as Tamaki Tsuru, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Jun Kuramochi, Junya Enoki as Daisuke Enoki, and Mikako Komatsu as Yano Chizuru, among many others.
