Based on the acclaimed manga by Paru Itagaki, the BEASTARS TV anime is on the way from anime studio Orange. The adaptation is officially set to air on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block this October, with Netflix locking down exclusive streaming rights. Check out the latest trailer below.
Itagaki’s manga—which is serialized in Akita Shoten‘s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in Japan—is coming out in English via Viz Media. Here’s how they describe it:

Last night at Cherryton Academy, an herbivore student was killed and eaten.
