BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Marks 5th Anniversary with Anime Specials

When it comes to anniversaries, the best way to celebrate is with ANIME. That’s what the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! mobile rhythm game is doing to mark the occasion of its 5th anniversary, at least. Special anime episodes are on the way to TOKYO MX and other stations in Japan, and they’ll also be streaming at the same time via the series’ official YouTube channel on March 10 and 17 at 11:00pm Japan Time.

The special CiRCLE THANKS PARTY! anime features an event thanking fans who supported the series’ bands since the days of the live house CiRCLE. As all 35 members rush to get ready for the big event, including live performances and food stands, Kasumi and the gang decide to put on a brand new song performance for their show.

In addition to the anime specials, a new song featuring the 35 members of Poppin’ Party, Roselia, Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Hello, Happy World!, Morfonica, and RAISE A SUILEN will be produced. Fans can also look forward to the anime and live performances being streamed during the fifth anniversary program, GARUPA 5th Anniversary BanG Dream! 26 Hours TV LIVE, from March 10-11.

The BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! rhythm game first launched for iOS and Android devices in March 2017. Since its service began, over 20 million registered users have joined in around the world.
