Ayakashi Triangle Anime Hit with Further Delays

ayakashi triangle

Last month we posted about some delays hitting various anime, including Ayakashi Triangle. It turns out those woes aren’t yet over, and while episodes 5 and 6 are on the way, the future is a bit murkier beyond that.

According to the latest update, two more episodes and some “bonus content” are planned for March. So far that includes episode 5 on March 6, episode 6 on March 13, a recap of the first six episodes on March 20 and a “special program” on March 27. As for the episodes beyond 5 and 6, we’ll have to stay tuned for further news on the status of delivery.

The Ayakashi Triangle manga first kicked off in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020, where it ran until early 2022 before moving to Shueisha’s manga app/website Shonen Jump+ in April.

Teenage exorcist ninja Matsuri has his hands full protecting his town from harmful ayakashi. But all that exorcising has hardened his heart to the playful and helpless ones. Enter Suzu, Matsuri’s childhood friend who has a crush on him, and who calls ayakashi her friends. But one day, when Suzu is attacked by a powerful ayakashi, Matsuri ends up magically transformed into a girl! The jutsu is permanent, so now he has two challenges—defeat the growing number of ayakashi targeting Suzu and learn how to live as a girl! Is he man, or woman, enough for the task?
