Looking for some fresh anime cosplay inspo? Look no further than the new anime season! There are fantastical suits of armor, stylish school uniforms, and stunning idol dresses. But we can’t help but notice some seriously adorable options in the mix, too.
Here are a few looks we’d love to see you master cosplayers recreate. The best part is, some of these selections have many alternate versions. So you can get super creative!
Sariphi’s Beast Disguise
In Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts, human girl Sariphi has to keep a low profile. Rather than forcing her to stay in the castle, Leonhart comes up with a clever—and weirdly cute—disguise. This eventuality has offered up a cute, and unusual, anime cosplay option for any takers.
While walking around in town, Sariphi bundles up in a goat-person costume. Other than the fact that the hood is a goat head with pointy teeth, it’s kind of adorable. This might be a cozy one to save up for the winter convention circuit!
Familia Waitress
Harem anime The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses starts its run with its heroines wearing… not much. And yet, it offers up one of the most appealing anime cosplay possibilities this season: the Familia waitress uniform. This frilly striped maid dress is absolutely adorable. And it’s a plot point in the show. Ouka, one of the waitresses, wants to be a costume designer. These cute dresses are her handiwork!
If you want to go even frillier, check out the episode where they host a stall at the local cherry blossom festival. Ouka adds extra frills, plus a floral headband, to the standard outfit. If you’re looking for a matching group cosplay, this would be a sweet one to put together with some friends!
Princess Ruri
For full anime cosplay potential, though, Princess Ruri is the way to go. She’s the guild leader in My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999, a cheerful character whose veteran player loves to dress her up in a variety of outfits. The frilly pink dress and capelet look is adorable, and opens the door to a lot of fun with makeup.
Of course, you don’t have to stick with just this look. In the epilogue of one episode, we get to see Ruri’s full stock of character skins. Combat gear, special seasonal looks, and even an Alice in Wonderland-inspired fit are all possibilities. You could make an entire group of nothing but Ruri looks!
