Anime Boston 2021 Canceled Due to COVID-19

Anime Boston 2021 Canceled Due to COVID-19Anime Boston cannot catch a break, man. It was about 11 months ago that we reported the 2020 edition of the convention had been canceled. Now, unfortunately, we’re doing it all over again. The con has made the difficult but inevitable decision to cancel for the second year running in the face of the ongoing pandemic.

Has this thing really been going on that long?

If you’d registered for Anime Boston 2021—or 2020, for that matter—your registration will transfer to 2022, when, fingers crossed, the con will be able to pack three years of fun into one.

We suspect this is just the first of many cons to have to cancel for a second year running, but our hearts go out to all those east coast anime fans and the whole Anime Boston crew.

For more details, visit the con’s official site.
