In addition to the new Blue Exorcist anime, a new game is officially in the works for Kazue Kato’s series. Aniplex revealed AlternaWelt: Blue Exorcist Gaiden as a 3D action-RPG that’s currently in the works for PC, iOS and Android, targeting a summer 2024 launch in Japan.
Set in True Cross Academy Town, AlternaWelt will feature playable characters from the series, including Rin and Yukio Okumura, as well as original characters designed by Kazue Kato. You can see some footage in the debut trailer below.

Based on the manga by Kazue Kato, Blue Exorcist previously aired two TV anime seasons, and there was also an anime film.

Assiah, the realm of humans, and Gehenna, the realm of demons. Normally, these two dimensions would never intersect, but the demons are now intruding on the material world.
