Ajin: Demi-Human TV Anime Premiere Date Set

As previously reported, a trilogy of anime films and a TV anime are on the way to adapt Gamon Sakurai’s intense Ajin: Demi-Human manga, which Vertical Comics publishes in North America. The TV anime portion of the adaptation now has a premiere date set, with the show to begin airing on MBS and TBS in Japan on January 16.

Polygon Pictures (Knights of Sidonia) handles animation production for the project, and the first film part, “Shoudou” (“Impulse”), will open in Japan on November 27.

The end theme singer was also announced for the TV anime. Miyano Mamoru, who voices lead character Kei Nagai, will perform the ending song.
