The Boy and the Beast, the highly-anticipated new film from director Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children) is set to hit some theaters in the States in February, with others to follow in March, according to theater listings.
It’ll be Hosoda’s first film to get a U.S. theatrical release since Summer Wars in 2010.
The information comes from theatrical chain AMC, which lists the release date of the film as February 12. Additionally, California’s Laemmle lists the film as opening March 4, and Massachusetts’ Amherst Cinemas lists March 5.
The Boy and the Beast opened in Japan last July and became Hosoda’s highest-grossing film yet.
